I always wanted to write a tune in "Chet-Atkins-Style". So here it is: "Chetkins"!
Recorded directly into a Zoom H4n (multi track mode, effect: Fender clean, spring reverb).
Guitars: 1984 Squier Telecaster, 1970s Guya Conquerer Lapsteel.
Backing Band: Band-In-A-Box |

Great playing!
I am also very impressed by the video editing.
How did you cut in and out of the two different instrument takes and remain in sync?
Dom |
Dom, thank you!
I first imported the backing track into the Zoom H4n. Then I recorded the two instrumental tracks (guitar and lapsteel). Finally I exported the whole thing to Cubase to adjust volume and normalize.
After this I did some playback runs and filmed from different point of views and put it all together with Pinnacle (I had a day off and the weather was VERY bad ...) |

I can't decide if I'm more jealous of your playing or your beautiful studio space. Great stuff, man! |
