Has anyone had any experience with an Egmond lap steel? It's a 6 string guitar, shaped like Gumby and was perhaps made in the 1950s.

Roger: I've never seen or heard of an Egmond lap steel, but have come across a few of their guitars. As far as I know, the instruments are all Dutch-made, more likely in the 60's or 70's than the 50's, I'd think.
Pretty low end, the ones I've seen, but with a certain cheesy appeal.
