I'm looking for a single E9 PSG for easier travel, and I'd like to hear your experience with any of the guitars mentioned above, i.e, what you like about them. Thanks! |

Hi Asa.
GFI S10 guitars are awsome for travel man. I used to be able to put my S10 packed in the case and walk with it under my arm. The mechanics are top notch and they have great natural tone as you know.
The others you mention are all great but GFI gets my vote.
My second choice would be a Carter S10. |

Thought you mentioned light weight and smaller size.It is at 26lbs,also it's not a full width like an SD-10.It's sorta of a 3/4 width with a narrow pad. That aside it's simply an excellent psg at a real good price...Stormy |

Jackson Blackjack Customs are great singleneck steels. I play a Jackson Blackjack Custom and it's an amazing guitar. I love the Mullen Discovery models too, although I've never played a Discovery, I hear they're great. David and Harry Jackson build the Jackson Steels |

I have a GFI SD10 Ultra I might want to sell. It's a great playing guitar and easy to carry around. Red with black pad. I have not posted in the For Sale section yet but I plan to soon. |

Thanks guys- I have an sd10 (GFI- I agree Quentin) but the half pad is unnecessary space for me. Again, please share what you like about them. |

|

Earlier this year we took a road trip for three months in our van. It wasn't going to be possible to bring my double neck ZB, so I got an ETS.
Not only is it super compact, it's light and the case is much smaller than any other PSG because the legs pack on top of the body.
It plays very well and is a breeze to change copedent.
Since we were visiting various musician friends, I was overjoyed that I had pedal steel with me. _________________ "To live outside the law you must be honest." (Bob Dylan) |

I've got a wonderful little Williams S-10 Keyless guitar that sounds great and is so easy on the back. The case is about the size of a tenor saxophone case.

Mullen Disovery is all professional and plays like all Mullen Guitars, easy, accurate and the tone is the best I have experienced.
Please call 217 433 7455 and we can discuss why I believe this.
