Ok so I'm down in my basement practicing some last night. I hit my B & C pedals and I'm like man something is horribly out of tune!! So I hit them again. Same thing. I usually give a quick check of tuning when I start so I was totally puzzled as to how it could be out of tune that bad. Then I looked down at my pedals!! The shaft had pulled out and the pedals were flopping loose!! Never had that happen before!!!

I am always so grateful when stuff like that happens at home instead of on stage....

I went back to the Mexican restaurant the next day, rooted around in the carpet on stage, and found the little black pin that goes thru the end of the pull rod.

You are real trooper when things break at a gig. Has happened to me probably half a dozen times.

Yeah it has the set screws but I geuss they just backed off. Easy fix but if you play a bud out I would check them from time to time. Really doesn't affect me as I only play in my basement.

I filed a small flat on the axle for the set screw to seat onto. Then added a bit of the lighter thread lock. Never had a problem.
