The time has come to pass this fine instrument on to the next caretaker. Hate like hell to let it go. It has served me well and I have babied it through 25 + years of mostly studio work and an occasional gig when I was in the Riders of the Purple Sage. There's nary a mark on her. A little color fade here and there. No real dings of any sort really whatsoever. You'll not find another w/original finish this well preserved. I've never seen one this nice and I've seen and played dozens and owned a couple others. All electronics work as new. This one has a spring loaded momentary push-to-kill switch on the volume pot for Speedy West/Jimi Hendrix on-off staccato efx with the palm of your hand but it can easily put back to stock. Case is original with the Fender logo intact and in good shape and the clasps work as new and I even have the original case keys and the locks work like new also. Right now it has Joaquin's C6 w/hi B chromatic on the outside neck and a Dobro G with C & E chromatics on string 7 & 8 on the inside neck(a great blues tuning). This is a real Western Swing machine. Lingering illness forces liquidation so my daughter can have some kind of Christmas.
I've seen lotsa dinged up beaters for $1500 but this one is so immaculate I'd sure like to get $2000 + shipping but am open to something pretty close to that.

Get well soon, Mike. That is one fine guitar and worth every penny. You are a stand up dad selling something that means so much to you for your child. Have a great Christmas. Hope Carty buys it. steve t
