'Why You Been Gone So Long' by the 'Desert Rose Band' with Jay Dee on Steel. But who's playing that nice B-bender guitar, Bob Warford or John Jorgenson? |

Alexander, it's actually on the Chris Hillman album "Desert Rose", and it is Bob Warford on B- bender guitar. _________________ Fender Kingman, Sierra Crown D-10, Evans Amplifier, Soup Cube. |

So this is what a first call LA steel guitar player sounds like.
Just bragging here - but I saw Desert Rose w/ Jay Dee at the Station Inn in Nashville back in the 90's. He also played at the NTSGA steel convention w/ Larry Sasser. This level of inspiration never leaves you.

Besides the DRB albums there are several CD's with Chris Hillman and Herb Pederson with similarly great work by JayDee. "Desert Rose", "Way Out West", "Lonesome Feeling", Bakersfield Bound", "Running Wild", and "Like A Hurricane". |

Not much to add from my side, J.D. is always a winner!
