Sweet!

Please tell me again how the 12 strings are tuned.

I only have mine strung with 10.
Can't get my fingers to cooperate with the two reentry strings!

I actually have 4 re-entrant strings. although on this song I did not use the first two.
My Tuning High to Low:
F# D A# G E C# A F# E C# B G#
The top 4 are re-entrant.
The top 3 (A# D & F#)form an augmented triad
Strings 3,4,5 &6 ( C# E G & A#) form a diminished 7th
And that is the chord is featured all through the tune.

It just takes a little practice to avoid the 4 weird strings when you just want to play simple major and minor chords.

I don't have a problem avoiding them.
It is reaching up for a lower note that causes my brain to shut down:-/

I know what you mean... It only works for me to think of the re-entrant strings as part of a chord. So I grab 3 or 4 strings when I need a Diminished or augmented.

I can't wrap my head around playing the re-entrant strings while picking out a melody. although some licks come easy, playing chromatic runs like a pedal steel on the top strings.
