And I was blown away. I was at a Corb Lund show and his guitar player uses a Creamer with no pedals of any kind. His tone with his tele was very rich and very full, exactly the kind of 6 string sound I love. He played a double 8 string fender table steel for a few songs, and that sounded great too!
I've been kinda GASing for a Creamer since I discovered Milkman. Getting to actually hear one in person has turned it into full blown GAS. |

Sounds like you caught Grant Siemens!
Yeah - he goes straight in with only a tuner pedal on the floor. Great player. _________________ Milkmansound.com |

That's him. Great player is an understatement (Corb's whole band is top notch).
I meant to try to catch up with him after the show to compliment his playing and his tone, but he looked busy, so I left him alone.
I'm glad I finally got to hear one. I was afraid I'd not get to hear the Creamer until I saved up enough to buy one myself! Of course, after hearing one, I'm going to have to save up faster to satisfy my GAS.
There's at least one Milkman Pedal Steel amp in town that I could probably play if I asked nicely, but I'm not enough of a PSG player for that. I'm not sure I'll find a Creamer to try living where I do, so it was nice to get to hear it in person. |

You could try the Pedal Steel Amp on guitar...but you'd have to play pretty loud to get it into the zone....like John Mayer does..this is the front page of his website now. He has solved his throat issues and the guy hailed as "the next Eric Clapton" is back playing and winning Grammys again:

That's pretty cool that John Mayer has switched to Milkman amps.
For 6 string guitar, I don't like big amps. I had a 100 watt amp for a long time, and it was WAAAAY too loud for my needs. 15-30 watts is all I can deal with. |
