I am in the midst of expanding the Hot Club of America in Hi-Fi content at my website- it should be on line sometime this weekend, with some great pix and info Jody Carver is sharing with me about the album and the circumstances under which it was recorded, such as tunings, equipment used, etc..as well as some RealAudio snippets, and a link to a Live365 netradio broadcast of the Album in it's entirety...

this is not the final address for this, but the Live365 show is temporarily here

Have a listen and you may understand why I want to do all I can to promote Johnny and Jody's album.

Did I tell y'all Jody says he and Joe Maize worked the same club at one point? Man I would love to have a time machine and go hear that show...

Dave,,,,,
I want to express my sincere gratitude and appreciation for the lively interest you have taken regarding the long deleted Coral recording of "The Hot Club Of America"

You have brought back many fond memories to me of days gone by of another time and another place in my life,,,your web site is truly an "act of love" on your part for doing something as nice as this. It is something that I will never forget and I only wished than John Augie and George were able to be with us to expierience this, that you have done for all of us,
I know they would be grateful and humbled by your effort's as Iam.

I will always remember what you have done for us,,,,,and many thanks to your wife for finding that old LP in a "yard sale".

I want to thank all those who saw your web site on the Steel Guitar Forum for their nice e mail messages and compliments and questions re a time gone by many years ago,,,you have found a spot deep in my heart with your thoughtfullness and hard work to put this together,,,,,,and that is something I will never ever forget ,,,,thank you again and my fondest best wishes to you and your family for good health most of all, and again it is much appreciated more than you will ever know. God Bless all of you Sincerely Jody......PS you made this old heart of mine beat in "double time" as fast as Johnny played "Hora Staccato" on his 1954 Stratocaster guitar : FENDER OF COURSE"
