When I built my lap steel I made a roller nut by widening a guitar one. I need a roller nut because of the multi bender bridge. However, the nut is pretty mediocre, so I am wondering if anyone has a source for a roller nut that is wider than a normal electric guitar one? Thanks. |

I think you'll probably have to make one yourself or have it made. Allparts has a "standard" roller nut, but nothing wider.
Check with some of the pedal steel makers to see if they have any suggestions.
Good luck! _________________ Brad’s Page of Steel

Two of my customers had custom roller nuts made and shipped to me for their lap steels. Excellent quality. |
