When I built my lap steel I made a roller nut by widening a guitar one. I need a roller nut because of the multi bender bridge. However, the nut is pretty mediocre, so I am wondering if anyone has a source for a roller nut that is wider than a normal electric guitar one? Thanks.

I think you'll probably have to make one yourself or have it made. Allparts has a "standard" roller nut, but nothing wider.

Check with some of the pedal steel makers to see if they have any suggestions.

Good luck!

Two of my customers had custom roller nuts made and shipped to me for their lap steels. Excellent quality.
