A post today by the Fretboard Journal reminded everyone that 39 years ago today, the SS Edmund Fitzgerald sank in a storm on Lake Superior, inspiring Gordon Lightfoot to write his masterpiece.

His song also inspired me to create these two experimental layered steel guitar mixes back in 2012.

I especially like mix 2 and your use of delay. The original song had tons of delay, which helped to create the haunting sound. Great job!
