Recently brought this from a forum member. Serial # 1030 and was told it was a 2008 model. This guitar is in perfect condition. Guitar and case look like brand new. I have not done anything to it. It is just like I got it. Weighs 34 lbs. standing, 55 lbs. in case & 25 inches high to bottom of front apron. Selling due to my hands and fingers have gone numb plus I have two other guitars. Someone needs to put this beauty to work. These were built by Jerry Brightman of Buck Owens fame. Emmons tuning, three and five. Price is what I have in it, $1850.00 plus shipping. J.R.

The performance steel was purchased from me a few months ago by JR Rose. This guitar is in mint cond. It is the beginning of the newer "russler" a superb steel, built by Randy Weideman of russler steel guitars, endorsed by Russ Hicks who is very active in the production of these fine guitars. I replaced the original george ell e 66. with a wallace truetone 24.5k These guitars have sustain forever, truly a superb guitar. Good luck JR with your sale. Stick toyour price. Truly worth every pennyand more. |

I might add that the center cross bar you see in the full under body picture is a non spreader bar like you see in other steels that or flat and about 3/4" wide. This works very well and is nice looking also.
Thanks, J.R. |

Thanks Bent for your nice comment. Yes the reversing mechanism is a work of art. Pure Genius. I am guessing most folks do not get that for I have had very little interest. It is also polished everywhere.
A very, very nice steel guitar at a very good price. J.R. |

The first day I went to work there, and examined the reversing mechanism, I was amazed by it's design. |

This is a outstanding guitar. Someone needs to put this to work. I think my price is way below fair market value. J.R. |

Super guitar, super price. Whoever gets it will be very happy. They were built with very exacting specs, and very well-concieved design. Very good-playing and sounding guitar. What is the pickup on this one? All the ones I built had an E-66. |

Thanks John for your kind remarks. The pickup was change to a Wallace True Tone before I got it. I think it is 24.5 ohms. Killer sound and rings forever. Thanks, J.R. |

I have thought long and hard about buying this guitar. I'm not quite there yet in the savings department but I have to ask is it even possible to find parts? Perhaps from Rusler? I would want to add 2 pedals. |

You can try Rusler or Hummingbird Studios, Rick may have some parts, or know where to get them. |
