I have a friend that had a ball cap made up for me. It's dark blue w/ big yellow letters saying,"CMA". Underneath,in smaller letters it says,"Country My A55". Shocked (I used 2 5's instead 2 s's,'cause I know I would've been blocked.) Laughing

It's sad that K.d. Lang, Shelby Lynne and so many more left the Country genre behind. They are great talents, but I guess there's limitations in that style.
Now Rock acts moved in that don't have a chance to score on the charts anymore. I've always liked the Doobies, but they are not Country.

The Doobies have had 2 steel players in their ranks. Skunk Baxter and John McFee.

Having a steel guitar does NOT make it country.

Gives them more country cred than say, Kid Rock, Florida Georgia Line, (or the other way around), or pick just about any male country act of today. You get my drift.
