While I was never a lead guitarist, I am able to translate some guitar passages to pedal steel.
Recently I've had a band ask for a bit more rockabilly, and thought that some folks here - perhaps those who play lead and steel - might be able to suggest or tab some riffs, leads or passages that are typical of that style. I've found some things, and can add slapback delay, but I thought this might be a good place to up my game. Thanks for any help offered. _________________ 1979 MSA U12 Pedal Steel

Speedy was amazing, no question there.
What I have of his playing is more in the swing vein.
I'm looking for tabs/descriptions of actual rockabilly style on pedal steel (I have a U12, so E9, C6 or B6 would work). I figured that perhaps some guys who double on - or started on - 6 string guitar might be able to translate some stock (or wilder) rockabilly playing to pedal steel. Any more? _________________ 1979 MSA U12 Pedal Steel
