Interested in perhaps purchasing new GFI seat... found out today no longer in production...any comments on their design? Looks like they are wider & deeper than others....good or bad?

Rene - I happen to have a GFI seat sitting in a closet. Bought it new in 2006 and it has never been used yet. Still new condition. It is black color with carpeted interior compartments and does not have a back rest. I would be willing to sell it if you are interested.

Sam ash still has some new gfi seats available Rene. I just ordered one. They are 199 US marked down from 250 US. With shipping and customs to me is 330 Can. You have to email the international shipping department to set it up but its a breeze.
Hope that helps man.

Here is the link.

For a while to be in fashion I bought a heavy elite seat and lugged it around on my gigs. Then I sold it and replaced it with this fold up aluminum seat for $19.95 at Harbour freight. Oh, the foam cushion from Walmart was $2.50. This new seat is so light and so comfortable and just the right height for me. Harbor Freight has still some left Over!😄

Just bought this step-stool, too. Am going to try building my own setup with lift out compartment, etc.
If it comes out nicely I'll post some pix. Ned
