The Guitar Shed / The Guitarded Shop

Just opened at 17053 Highway 53, Gulfport, MS.

Located on MS Highway 53 about 1 mile west of Highway 49. If you pass the Dollar General store on your right, you've gone a little too far.

Open from 12:00 noon to 7:00 pm every Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

We carry acoustic & electric guitars, basses, banjos, mandolins, resonators (square & round neck), amplifiers, drums, new & used instruments.

We also carry strings, picks, capos, straps, cases / bags, etc.

Good Luck.

I bought my first guitar and did my first recording session at Carpenter's Music in Biloxi. First guitar in 1959 and first recording session in 1961.

I'll drop in sometime and check it out. The Gulf Coast area has several pedal steel players close to you. Come by the steel show in Gulfport this coming weekend and meet several. You'll be surprised at the number of steel players and instruments there. We steel pickers use certain strings, volume pedals, effects, amps and the list continues. Bill Stafford is the contact person for the show. Hope to see you there.
