Who among you, can tell us some background details of this fine musicians musical career?

He played both lap and pedal steel. He recorded four instrumental sides and they sounded great! He wrote an entertaining book entitled: "All Roads out of Nashville". He played Trot-Mors #2 instrument as his friend Jerry Byrd had #1.

How about some tantalizing details? Crying or Very sad

Im familiar with his few recordings and some of his background however I have never known a lot about him. I hope someone who knew him can tell more. If I am not mistaken isn't he the one behind the red steel guitar in the 1966 film Second Fiddle to A Steel Guitar.
