In the works...At some point I put 010 on the shelf in order to finish 009 for Per Berner in Sweden. In the midst of polishing and assembling as my chief helper here can attest to Winking

And one of those selfies with a twist

Here is 010 which is hard maple body. It will be going to Plattsville, just east of here. My friend George Leite will be the owner.

How come if it's family, it's "cute", but if it's a stranger, it's "child labor"?

It's getting close! Looking very nice indeed, Bent. Time to sell my D10 Emmons to make room for it.

Lane, I guess its in how your mind twists it.
I know...you're "just joking"

Per, Thanks. Imagine replacing your Emmons with the BenRom. I'll take it as a huge compliment!

Indeed, Bent. Sometimes my mind makes up tasteless jokes. I only share the funny ones.

Looking great Bent. Tell your chief helper he's doing a fine job! I'm anxious to see and try these steels in person.

Bent,

The lad is blessed to have you as a mentor. We don't mind if you say "helper" so you can claim it's "just a hobby."

It's shaping up to be a real work of art. Beautiful!

Dale, you will of course be the first one I call once they are playable. I am one lucky dude to have a player of your caliber test every steel I make.

Ed thanks for the plug! My helper is the same little guy that you were playing building blocks with here on the shop floor. He will remember you next time you show up.

Dan thanks for your kind words!

The steel was shipped off to Sweden this afternoon. It's new owner, Per Berner will have it middle of next week. It has been a pleasure to work with Per on this project. I must say it is hard to find more easy-going customers than him. 009 Amber was built to Per's specs, from the laser-cut dust catcher style fretboard and logo to the custom pedal setup.
This steel is the first one with a BenRom case

Bent, another work of art.
I really really like that red & natural cabinet shown early in this thread.
All your guitars are beautiful my friend.
God bless.

If it plays half as good as it looks, I'll be very happy indeed. Great work, Bent!
