I am looking for an assortment of thumb picks(no Dunlop please) to do a comparison with. The large size Dunlop thumb pick I have been using seems too clumsy and "wooden" without any "feel" or "give" to it, is the best way I can explain it.
I will be happy to make a donation to the forum and pay a nominal fee plus the actual shipping cost for an assortment of gently used picks that I can use for evaluation.
Thanks in advance,

I was introduced to GOLDEN GATE picks by my friend David Kolars (I hope I spelled that correctly!).
I've found them to be a great, solid and yet not harsh sounding........pick. I ordered a dozen of them. Never regretted the purchase. |

Terrific Dale. Thanks for the heads up. I'll take it that the "red" Dunlop picks are different than the white ones I have been using? _________________ JusticeJudge |

I have some large size National white thumb picks if interested... you can have them for the shipping. I can part with 5.
I use the Blue Hercos. _________________ Amateur Radio Operator NA4IT (Extra)

I may, in fact, be nuts. However, I am screwed onto the right bolt... Jesus! |

Frank, they look identical to the Herco’s but they say they’re a Med, and seem maybe a touch firmer...I don’t know if it’s the same material or not, but the impressions on them look the same as the Blue Herco’s...which BTW were .60/ea and .70 for the Red Dunlops...I bought 24 Herco’s and 6 Dunlops because I haven’t used them before...they seem pretty good...
Good Luck,
Dale
