Hi, I am wanting to set up a Twin for both guitar & steel using the separate channels for each. Does anyone know of a neo speaker that would be best suited for that application? Something JBL/EV-ish would be preferred - but I may have to bend a bit on that wish.
Thanks!

You may find that any neo speaker built with eminence parts will not fit into your old twin. The frames are too bulky. _________________ Milkmansound.com |

FWIW, I have Jensen Neo's in my Twin Reverb. I quite like them. _________________ Some gear. |

I have been using a 74 Twin for double duty and would also be interested in any opinions regarding neo speakers, Jensen, Eminence Lil Texas, tonal differences, etc., compared to stock ceramic magnet speakers. It sure would be nice if this old Twin could shed eight or ten pounds without any sacrifice in tone. |

If you want to shed weight you should move the amp into a pine cabinet and ditch the heavy plywood/mdf cabinet
The Neo speakers don't weigh much less than the ceramic speakers do _________________ Milkmansound.com |
