I notice that a lot of E9 guitars have a fourth pedal. I have two questions:-

Is it always a Franklin pedal or are there alternatives? Which end does it usually go?

I might do a poll, but I need to be sure how to frame it.

I, and others, use a "Zero pedal" to raise 1 & 2 to G# and E.
I've also seen lowering of 3 and 6 to G.

My Infinity SD10 is set-up Zero, A B C My Zero pedal lowers strings 4 + 8 a full tone. Nice 7th chord. Try it, you will like it.

I have G# to G on mine, so I could get some lower minor chords with a ninth in them...
