I like mine, it's a keeper. My first delay pedal was a DD-3, I didn't like the way it colored my tone. So I tried a Dan-Echo, it had better tone, but was a little noisy. The Samsara is quiet and has great tone and flexibility. |

Thanks Tommy. Billy Cooper's in VA is selling it. Maybe yours came from his store. He reports it eats 9V batteries and could do with a power supply (which he can supply).
Ed, I didn't quite get whether you were happy with yours. Looked for a Peavey reference, but couldn't find one; Budda Amplification is in Meridian, MS & has a line of amps and some boutique fx pedals one of which is the Samsara Delay.
Thanks for comments.

I just ordered one from Billy Cooper. I have a Boss Dd3 (Awful, trebly, not clear, not the sound I wanted) and I wanted an analog delay sound. It is my understanding the Budda produces 'something' close to an analog sound. _________________ GFI Ultra SD-10; Nashville 112; Hilton pedal, George L Cables; Pearse bar; Live Stings;Walker seat by Billy Knowles. |

I love the delay the Budda has. Significantly better than the Boss DD3. The Boss was Ok with my Gibson CEC,but not with the PSG. _________________ GFI Ultra SD-10; Nashville 112; Hilton pedal, George L Cables; Pearse bar; Live Stings;Walker seat by Billy Knowles. |

I bought a Buddha Delay and 1 Spot wall wart at Billy Cooper's about 5 years ago. The 1 I have has no battery compartment. has been in my setup every since. First with an Evans AH200 amp and now with a Tone Block 202. It has worked well for me. When I bought it Billy set the 4 knobs on it and said. "Here is where you want it set for Steel guitar".
I marked the settings with white tape. And I have moved the dials but always put them back where Billy adjusted them to. |
