Finally picked up an MSA U12. It is a 7 & 5 and I want to add a pedal 8. I bought it so I could leave my Legrande set up at church and still have a rig to do bar gig on Friday/sat night and not have to keep tearing down rig. Love the E9/B6. Only thing is I do miss pedal 8. Can anyone direct me on how to go about buying a pedal/rod assembly and how to go about. It is a wood lacquer The Universal XL model btw. Nice to have backup steel. Really love the uni! Not having pedal 8 is kinda buggin me tho. |

Does your pedal bar have a cleat for the pedal?
Michael Yahl will have all the parts you need.

Yes it does. Just found his site gonna message him soon. Love your posts Lane. Very helpful. Was gonna call you the other day but fam stuff goin on. Kids and all. I hav been playin Legrande for 8 yrs now. Haven't had to do much to it but lube and tune. hav to step it up now. The MSA is so cool! I need to post a pic soon. It is tobacco sunburst. Not big flame but some mottling. Got it form forum member in want to buy. Gigged once with it and the guys went nuts for it . It sound like an old ShoBud or close to. Very alive. Supercharged. Only thing was the super sustain p/u was super microphonic and weak. Had to really lean on amp. Bad bass resp. Got a Wallace TT on the way. Can't believe I have one of these! Really happy with it. Must add P8 tho. Going back and forth to D10 I keep getting P6 and 7 mixed up. Would be super cool to just have P8. Got enough to keep track of. |

Excellent. In my MSA 12, the ToneAligner is an excellent match.
But my MSA is unbelievably bright. The Hoffnar pickup makes it sound amazing. _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)
