Tuning issue

I have a single 10 BMI that I just bought. When I get the B string in tune and try to tune the pedal, the nylon tuner changes the open tuning. I was looking for suggestions on a fix ??

It's overtuned. Relax the tuning nuts til they don't do anything, then tune it again.
You MIGHT need to adjust the pedal stops, but I doubt it.
