I have had this guitar for over 20 years and hardly used it. Tom Bradshaw went through it about 5 years ago but I never got it out of the case. I love the pedal steel guitar, but I have finally come to the conclusion that I am not a musician.

I read quite often their are never any good S-12 Universals for sale on the forum. Here is one, bet it won't last long! _________________ Die with Memories. Not Dreams.

Is this guitar still available? If so, what is the co-pedant? |

Sure looks like 7&5 to me.I think I see a vertical.
Looks like normal pedals (boowah on 7, not 4), Es on the right leg and I can't quite decipher the left knees on my phone. _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)
More amps than guitars, and not many effects |

John, take a look at the pictures. You can, if you look, CLEARLY see three rows of lowering holes. Here, look at this pic _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)

That's a good deal on a very nice guitar. I like the look, perfect in time for the holidays ;~)
My only issue is the lack of tensioners for the lowering springs. I know many older guitars perform just fine without these and springs can be cut off if necessary to adjust the tension. Does anyone make an aftermarket spring with the tensioners for older guitars? |

Yes Michael Yahl will set you right up with a retro fit adjustable lower spring set up..
He has sold several to MSA players... Why bother, you'll never need one most likely.. They last decades even when playing the guitar 4 hours a night 5 nights a week. If one ever does weaken cut a coil off it, and its good for another 10 years.. Thats the LAST thing that would keep me from buying a steel guitar.. Inconsequential really..
This model MSA is one of the finest steel guitars ever built IMHO... bob _________________ I'm over the hill and hittin'rocks on the way down!
