Just heard on Justin Trevino's show today, Jerry Max Lane, 75, passed away Saturday, Sept. 6, 2014, at his home. He had been suffering from Parkinson's disease. |

Wasn't he a song writer and also played keyboards with Mel Tillis? |

I know he was a pretty prolific songwriter, well known around the Fort Worth area. I didn't know whether he had played keyboards for Mel Tillis. |

RIP Jerry. I had the pleasure of working with Jerry a couple of weeks at the Wrestlers Rest on E. Belknap in Ft Worth back in early seventy's, very talented Man , I was replacing someone for that time period.
