I can't hear myself through the PA and when I can it ruins the mix for the singers. We're playing bars so I'm thinking about an amp. What's a good amp I can use for the
Dobro? I've got a Paul Beard pup if that helps any.

There's been quite a bit of discussion on this lately and I believe that the favorite choice is an acoustic amp made by Crate. Who'd have guessed it?

Frank. Load up your dobro and try the Roland
AC 60. YOu will love this amp for the features and the size. Price is right too.I
have it in stock if you want to try it.

I use a McIntyre pickup into a L.R.Baggs Para DI into a JBL Eon10 powered speaker. Works for me.
