I know this guitar, and I know Will, this is a wonderful instrument and you wont find a nicer guy to deal with than Will..if I didn't have so many guitars right now I would have jumped on that Carter myself...

Thanks Damir! I just recently polished the carter up and it is looking shiny like those photos. Btw those photos are from dec last year when I bought this carter. I have hardly had to touch anything on this guitar in the time I have had it - it stays in tune remarkably well and is built like a tank. Very lightweight as well.

Back home. Here is an undercarriage pic. The rodding is fantastic and the guitar plays great. E's on left leg, lkv lowers 5&10 a half step, rkl lowers 6 and raises 1 a whole tone. Standard c6. Very efficient guitar.

Bump
Would consider a rains by Gary Carpenter or maybe some kind of Emmons... Push pull in need of work? Someone looking for a light weight guitar? I can provide detailed weights and measurements on request.

Will,

Great looking Carter. I'm not much of a rosewood guy, but that one is great!

Do you have any videos with you playing this guitar live?

Thanks,

Don

I was not into the rosewood look until I had this steel. I like it now. I'll try to find video. I played this guitar in NYC when emmylou Harris sat in with us at Lincoln center in August, fwiw. Cool Right before she and Steve Fishell played an incredible set.
