Hey Lynn,
I enjoyed your rendition of Wills Point. Smooth playing! Keep them coming.
By the way, I'm originally from the Pennsylvania area. Ever hear of Indiana? That's the area I call home.

Thanks, everyone. I had a lot of fun trying to learn this challenging tune.
Don: Do y'all have room for another PA girl down there? I've got to get around some real music!
Thanks, Dan. I need to find another tune like this. Any ideas?
Rick: I have a Mustang II with the 12" speaker. I set it on Twin and go from there. It actually sounds better live. I miked the amp and hooked that directly into my camcorder this vid so I wouldn't get pedal noise. Ya never know what you're actually getting 'til it's all said and done.
Bill: Love my Bud. She was made for me in '77. Spent most of her life in the case, though. You know, day job. _________________ Sho-Bud Pro II Custom, GFI Ultra SD-10, Fender Pro Amp, Fender Mustang II Amp, Morrell 8-string lap, Epiphone 6-string lap, Galveston reso, etc. |

that was really good. how do you learn this stuff? is it on some learning course or something?
buddy's tunes always have complicated sophisticated voicings, but i guess they can be learned?
evidently. |

Buddy's own tablatures are his gift to us
he offers his stuff on a platter
not so hard w: practice & the right steel
well themes aren't
the solos are another matter..... |

Lynn, that was awesome. very well done.
I suggest you listen to Tom Brumleys song Neosho Waltz from the Tom Cattin album. Great song, you could surely do a great job on. Larry _________________ Mullen G2 SD10 3 & 5 The Eagle

Wow, Thanks again guys.
Don, I'm planning on the Dallas jamboree in March. Just made Scotty's for the first time this year and I was like a kid in a candy store. Don't get much steel here at home.
Thanks, Robert. I'm hoping to keep at it this time.
Thanks so much, Henry. This one took a while to get it to this point.
Yes, Chris. Buddy has been gracious enough to put out some courses for us: tab, full version, and backup tracks. Gotta love our Steelie Masters!
Thanks CrowBear. My old video "Last Date" is from one of Buddy's courses.
Thank you, Larry. I gave it a listen. Very pretty. I've gotten a few suggestions for Tom's songs. I've put them on my list. _________________ Sho-Bud Pro II Custom, GFI Ultra SD-10, Fender Pro Amp, Fender Mustang II Amp, Morrell 8-string lap, Epiphone 6-string lap, Galveston reso, etc. |

Lynn,
I just listened to your video. Great job! Some very nice Emmons licks and execution. Nice Sho-Bud, too. I had one like it years ago. Keep up the good work. |

Thanks, Roy.
It's the kind of tune I wish I could write. But I just try my best with what the big guys come up with, and tweak them a little to my own style and ability.
What are you playing now?
