Hey Lynn,

I enjoyed your rendition of Wills Point. Smooth playing! Keep them coming.

By the way, I'm originally from the Pennsylvania area. Ever hear of Indiana? That's the area I call home.

Thanks, everyone. I had a lot of fun trying to learn this challenging tune.

Don: Do y'all have room for another PA girl down there? I've got to get around some real music!

Thanks, Dan. I need to find another tune like this. Any ideas?

Rick: I have a Mustang II with the 12" speaker. I set it on Twin and go from there. It actually sounds better live. I miked the amp and hooked that directly into my camcorder this vid so I wouldn't get pedal noise. Ya never know what you're actually getting 'til it's all said and done.

Bill: Love my Bud. She was made for me in '77. Spent most of her life in the case, though. You know, day job.

that was really good. how do you learn this stuff? is it on some learning course or something?

buddy's tunes always have complicated sophisticated voicings, but i guess they can be learned?

evidently.

Lynn, that was awesome. very well done.

I suggest you listen to Tom Brumleys song Neosho Waltz from the Tom Cattin album. Great song, you could surely do a great job on. Larry

Wow, Thanks again guys.

Don, I'm planning on the Dallas jamboree in March. Just made Scotty's for the first time this year and I was like a kid in a candy store. Don't get much steel here at home.

Thanks, Robert. I'm hoping to keep at it this time.

Thanks so much, Henry. This one took a while to get it to this point.

Yes, Chris. Buddy has been gracious enough to put out some courses for us: tab, full version, and backup tracks. Gotta love our Steelie Masters!

Thanks CrowBear. My old video "Last Date" is from one of Buddy's courses.

Thank you, Larry. I gave it a listen. Very pretty. I've gotten a few suggestions for Tom's songs. I've put them on my list.

Lynn,

I just listened to your video. Great job! Some very nice Emmons licks and execution. Nice Sho-Bud, too. I had one like it years ago. Keep up the good work.

Thanks, Roy.
It's the kind of tune I wish I could write. But I just try my best with what the big guys come up with, and tweak them a little to my own style and ability.

What are you playing now?

Hey, just noticed. We're almost neighbors. Smile
