Wide mount.. Had a trade deal, but it fell through when the "tradee" couldn't find the pickup he wanted to trade, so here I am again.. There is a ton of info archived on this pickup.. It sounds GREAT with massive sustain, and smooth sweet treble, very unlike most humbucker steel pickups.. Its simply too hot for my needs. Not harsh, not distored, just incredibly LOUD!.. Makes it tough when switching from steel to 6 string..

I would swap for a BL 705 reissue with multiple wires, or GeorgeL 10-5 with 5 way switch, or a wide mount Truetone thats NOT wound at 19K the way most guys are having them wound these days...
Would consider other brand wide mount pedal steel pickups that are not overwound as well..
I am looking to thin up my sound a bit, so I do NOT want a hot or loud pickup.. Let me know what you have.. I have had a million offers to buy this Alumitone, but as of right now, I would really prefer a swap.... bob
