I just wanted to take a moment to thank all of you who check out the Beginners Notes as I put them up. #289, who would have believed it. I know that many, if not most of you have advanced beyond the tidbits I put up. I do believe there are those that can still find value in them. I hope so...

I've been looking at the top strings on the E9th tuning. #288 was an idea using them. Meant more then anything to solicit your own curiosity and innovation. Here's another.

This is based, on the AF pedal/lever combination. And even though the F lever is not engaged, it is implied. Hummm... What the devil is this old fart talking about.

Let's look at 4 notes. The first two are the same as releasing the F lever as if it had been engaged at the 11th fret. Hence implied! The AF engaged at the 11th fret would make the "C" chord using standard grips of 3,4,5/4,5,6/5,6,8, etc. Of course you all know this.

Now lets look at 3 more notes. And another three.

Ok... So lets put one together and use it.
This could be played against a C chord.

Make up one of your own. Note: if you use the third example and go down each time, you can play it ending on a G chord.

I like your notes, still learning every time.

The last few top note threads are useful.

Jan, thank you very much. I appreciate the feedback. Here's another one.

Roughly based on this simple move... You could play that, ending on 10AB strings that sound pleasing.
