I recently acquired a Hilton volume pedal, and I need some input on what's available for mounting to the pedal bar. I've always used an Emmons pedal on my Pro II, but I don't want to modify the pedal bar on my Pro I. Interested on what you guys like and why.

I use the Goodrich, but the Bradshaw looks like it might be better.....

I use and really like the one Mr. Bradshaw sells. It has more adjustment to it than the Goodrich one.

MSA makes an attachment that cannot be seen from the front of the guitar, but it requires some surgery to the bar, and once installed, cannot be moved.

I have them on my Millies.

Thanks for the replies. Tom Bradshaw is sending me one of his. I hope to have it soon, as we are playing the Walnut Valley Festival in Winfield, Kansas in a couple of weeks. We do 7 shows in four days, on different stages. We have very little time to get on and off, so it's important to have the pedal attached.

A little nervous as this is the first year I'm playing steel there. Last four times I just played resonator. New CD has eleven steel cuts and only three with the Benoit, so it's necessary to bring the 'Bud.

I finally settled on the one Mullen sells, much smaller and takes less space in the pack seat than the other attachment types, a small bit that attaches (semi-) permanently to the pedal bar, and another bit that goes on the pedal, and then the pedal drops onto two small screws on the bar. Simple, effective, solid and unobtrusive. Best unit I've found. http://www.mullenguitars.com/Volume%20Pedal%20Brackets.htm#.VAtPYhageFI

I like that, Mark.
I REALLY like the one I bought from Tony Prior, but nobody seems to know who made it. I may try to put up some pics Monday

Got the attachment today from Tom Bradshaw. This thing is pretty cool - I like the adjustments, and it has a nice brushed aluminum finish. I did modify it slightly, as it doesn't allow for a "canted" pedal position. Going to work great. Our upcoming shows at Winfield require a hurry on/hurry off stage, and this along with a lighter single neck will make it much easier for an old man!

Tom is easy to do business with - I got it in four days!!!

Mark - The Mullen bracket looks pretty neat, but my Super Pro style pedal bar isn't nearly as deep as my Pro II or the guitar shown on the Mullen site. Don't think there is enough meat there to attach.
