Well, I just went against my grain and bought an SD10 LeGrande II. Really preferred a D10 (somthing) but this guitar was just too mint to pass up right now. It's a 98 model with 3 & 6 and I don't know the first thing about LeGrande II's really. Not even 100% sure about the right set up but I know I want to do something to allow myself some pseudo C6 playing out of this. Since I will go to a Day setup on the pedals, any suggestions on the knees from you pro's?

And any other comments or info I might need on these guitars would sure help also. Thanks ahead of time. GOD, Please let it have great tone!

I would suggest the following:

Standard A B C pedals.

2. LKL raises the E's to F

3. 2nd LKL raises the F#'s to G

4. LKV lowers the B's to Bb

5. LKR lowers the E's to Eb

6. RKL raises 1 to G#, 2 to E and lowers 6 to F# (splitting with the B pedal)

7. RKR lowers 2 and 9 to C# with half-stop on 2

If you must go to JD set up reverse LKL and LKR. Also, because the 9th string is out of place in a C6 standard setup, I would confine the "C6" to the following:

Use the LKR to get some of the basic "6th" sounds. Then:

1. Use the split and LKR to emulate one of the knee levers on the standard C6 setup.

2. Use the B pedal and LKR to make use of another standard knee lever on C6.

3. Use the standard E9th tuning (no pedals or knee levers) to emulate pedal 6. Its not exact, but close.

4. Use the B to Bb lever and LKR to emulate the C to B lever on standard C6 setups. The 10th string might be a problem because that note is not changed on a C setup.

Emulating the 4th, 5th, 7th and 8th pedals are not possible on a standard E9th setup with the above suggested setup. Or at least if they are I do not know now to do it.
