Plus another $75 off if you enter the 15% off Labor Day coupon code. That's $424.99 with free delivery. That's insane. _________________ JusticeJudge |

I wonder if they would give a rain check like they do at the grocery stores? _________________ JusticeJudge |

The standard dealer's cost for many items, for years was 50% of list price. However, many companies offer additional discount depending on how many a store, or an e-tailer such as M/F buys. That can be 50+10, 50+20 or even more. Thus they can sell at 40 or 50% discount and still make a profit.
The markup chain on items is huge. When I worked at a Nashville music store in the early 70's, the store bought enough Shure mics to qualify as a "distributor". That brought the music store price of one mic down to under $25 for a retail $80 price microphone. The store sold that particular mic for $49 and still made a profit (and the store couldn't keep that particular model mic in stock as they sold so good). |

If you go to the Musicians Friend site and look them up, they are no longer available. |
