We lost Doyle Huff from Tulsa,OK a few years back who had built his own 12 string universal. He had a Sho-Bud Super Pro and a Sierra 12 universal, but as an engineer wanted to make the best of both with a gearless tuner, 12 strings, wood body and with an even taper on strings. After he died, I got it from his wife, rebuilt it to correct a few problems he had with it and I rebuilt a case for it. It is a 12 string universal, with 8 pedals and 5 knee levers. The steel should be worth about $1600 to $1800 and the case about $150. I have permission from his wife to sell it for a more reasonable price. I can sell it for $1200 shipped as long as the shipping is not over $50. I ship FedEx from Ft. smith, AR and package myself. jerico47@gmail.com

It amazes me the pedal steels that some guys produce in one-off versions. What brilliance and patience. That under carriage is so neat it's hard to believe it is a home made instrument. I'm a little jealous Smile .

Really neat engineering on the LKV there, true vertical motion - sweet.

Doyle was a mechanical engineer and had access to the equipment to do things right. The steel is sold and I trust will be enjoyed and played regularly.
