all tube, very compact 22 watt OLD PA head that sounds magnificent with electric guitar.. Very strong and powerful sounding old amp!.. 2 EL 84 output tubes and a tube rectifier, and 12 ax7 preamp tubes.. This thing simply sounds wonderful.. Warm and sweet, and plenty loud.. It still has its original old style mic inputs as well as an RCA input, so it probably should be updated with modern 1/4 input and speaker jacks..
It works perfectly, loud, warm, and surprisingly clean.. Not a lot of treble, its a very thick sounding amp through my 15 speaker cab.. Its really an old design,, and probably should go to someone that is into working on these old amps. I doubt anything has ever been checked, and the parts are original.. that being said, it idles quiet as a mouse with NO hum, and all the controls are smooth and dead quiet.. I have NO idea how long it will stay that way. Looks like it sat in a box at the estate for decades.. I found it and bought at an auction..
Pilot light is the only thing not working..
I have NOT opened it up, but as stated, I played it well, and it worked perfectly and sounded KILLER with my strat.
Like an old Fender brown face to my ears.. Beautiful clean, with a big full bottom, NOT muddy.. Overdrives sweetly when cranked, but has quiet surprising headroom, especially with tubes that are probably 50-60 years old.. I dunno, I am thinking $150, and that includes shipping... $160 shipped to the left coast... Local pickup will get it a LOT cheaper... please email me directly with interest... bob

Guys, I do belive the amp is spoken for pending me sending out some pictures.. I also have a "next in line buyer as well, should the first deal fall through... If everything falls through it will be posted again at a later date... bob _________________ I'm over the hill and hittin'rocks on the way down!
