I hate to let go, but it needs to be played! This very special guitar is for someone special. It is adjustable from 24 inches up to 28 inches from bottom of cabinet to floor. All carbon including legs and pedal board as well as covers on levers. Has quick change pick ups, George L and Telonics 128. Excellent condition. Pictures are grainy will email higher resolution to interested parties. Currently coped is ZB/ZK Uni 12 but anything possible. Includes really nice wheeled case. There will never be another built. $4750.00, don't need to sell.

Wow! That is so cool! How much do the carbon fiber guitars weigh? And do you notice there being a lot less of any cabinet drop with the stiffness and strength of the carbon? Wish I had that extra cash floating around. That is badass.

Hey Kevin, there are two sets of rods, and Delrin inserts that accommodate the change. Reece set this up for a short customer the original owner, and I have long legs, but wanted to keep the carbon fiber legs, so we added the Delrin inserts.
Jason I have never weighed it, but the carbon fiber legs and pedal board knock a lot of the weight off, I would say it is the lightest S-12 8X5 I know of.
It is a cool guitar and I just don't play this one enough.

Niels Andrews, I tried to post a reply but haven't been on forum since e-mail changed so am trying again. I have a MSA Universal carbon body that I bought new from Reece some time ago. I understand that MSA no longer produces the carbon fiber model and am wondering why? Do you know? An old cowboy still trying to figure out a steel

As I recall, the Carbon Fiber became too expensive, and as a result, MSA stopped offering it. I'ts hard to believe how little it weighs.

Reece told me when I bought mine that the reason they quit making them was the cost of carbon fiber had become prohibitive.

Reece and Kyle told me the same thing. This is the same carbon fiber used in industry and military apps. (Fighter Jet Wings for one) The demand for it in these areas has both driven up the price and reduced the availability.

Keeping the telonics pick up, will sell for $3950.00. This is an awesome guitar, for a serious player.

Niels, do you have any sound bites? What's the sound like (light and clean or thick and heavy) and how is the sustain? Thanks

Way back in July I ask for a sound bite but the seller could not be bothered to dig it out as he said it is packed away. I was very interested in purchasing it. I am still not sorted so if any member has a good universal 12 you want to let go just drop me a line.

Richard,
A sound bit of someone else playing it does not and will not reflect the guitars sound, it will sound different in anyone's hands that are playing it, not to bring in amps, and effects..to the picture...
I have owned 4 millys, all sounded great to "me".. Very Happy

Richard heres a sound bit for you .on a milly
