Was wondering if this is an instrument level or line level device. do you plug the volume pedal out to the input. Or do you have to use it as a loop by using the send and returns.

I don't know much about this device but it sure sounds great.

I'd be delighted to hear reviews on the few people out there that have these already

Hi Ben
The PF Steel Dream is awesome. I've had mine for a few months now and the more I use it the better I like it. Its also very easy to use. Making adjustments while playing live couldn't be easier. I'm not sure if it is considered line level or instrument level but it can be hooked up several different ways . You can go straight out to it from the volume pedal or go straight from your guitar to the unit and run the volume pedal in the effects loop. It also has a dry line out which works great for a tuner. You can go to benadoeffects.com and look at the user manual. It's amazing how many options you have with this unit

Thanks Noel

Sounds like it is instrument level (no preamp) since you can go directly from the volume pedal to the unit. Sounds like it set up just like any ordinary Boss pedal. Its all at instrument level without any preamplification.

thanks again.

Hi Ben,
The Steel Dream is an instrument level unit. I have had mine (#Cool for a year. I use mine between the volume
pedal an the amp.
