reece a friend of mine has this msa classic d10 8/4 the ser no is 2c2872 do you have any info on this steel anything will be greatly appreciated DON

I'd say mid '74 (probably late June), but Reece is the final authority!

Don E....Thank you for your question which I'm delighted to answer.

Production records indicate serial number 2C
2872 as being a rosewood double 10 which left the factory with 8 pedals and 2 knee levers. It was originally shipped to our distributor in Chicago which is where my ability to track the guitar ended. It was born on June 28, 1974.

Another good guess Donny H...........you would be a great contestant on MSA trivia!By the way, thank you for being a part of Team Millennium.
