He brought those over to me last week.
The Ti surprised me with its tone, and it wasn't polished (maybe Monday I can try a polished one- HINT)
The brass is an extra-hard alloy (or maybe it gets hard from the treatment), and sounds REALLY good: can't wait to try the chromed brass.
The aluminum has a decent tone, and (as you'd expect) a shorter sustain. I plan to try it with my Bradshaw/Dunlop reso pedal, since TIFKADÂ¹ doesn't sustain like a steel.

Several weeks back, I spied some rather odd "Miron" bars on E-bay - I "had" to buy the Epiphone steel to get the bars!

A few people asked me if they could get one of them, but I need to keep a few of them, I think there are a few refinements to the design that I want to try. But I sold my soul to the dentist (temporarily) and until I pay it off I don't really have the resources for prototyping... anyway, Mr. Gunder can make bars like these. If you've ever tried to search out an old grooved Carter bar, you know how hard that is. I could get these specs to Mr. Gunter, or even my (so far untested) newer idea. I just can't dig in yet, I've been out-of-debt since 1999 or so, and it JUST BUGS ME to owe anybody so the tooth fairy goes first.

I'm getting ready to video a shootout/demo of six of his bars, he brought me some over and I'm quite impressed. I like three of the six a bit better than the others, but I no longer have use for the rest of my collection (Except my one sitar bar: I may ask for one of those in either the stainless or the hard chrome-plated brass).

I tried out several yesterday and made a video. As Donny pointed out, there wasn't much difference to the ears. But there was to the PLAYER.
I sounded like me on 5 out of 6, and almost sounded like me on the anodized Al.
BUT, it was easier and more pleasant to sound like me with those bars than the Ernie Ball and Jim Dunlops I HAD been using.

I A/Bd the powder coat against the rest of the family at the gig I played last Saturday.
It has a tone similar to the chromed brass, and felt the slickest of all of them.
When I heard about powder coated bars, I thought the very idea was silly. But it works well. It's pretty cool.
