Wow - lovely tone Andre! Very sweet sounding. Does your Clinesmith have the typical D-10 setup with C6 and E9?

Thanks Mike, its always scary to buy such a expensive
Instrument and not be able to try it first. But it completely blew
me away when i tried it. Its basically a completely new Bigsby.
I use C6 on the first and E9 on the other Tim. Just a fantastic instrument.

If you wonder why i post this guitar in the no peddlers
section is because i hardly never play with the pedals.

Once you set a bar down on one of Todd's instruments, you can feel the difference immediately. They are built to play and are meticulously set up.

I had a D-8 without pedals that was one of the first of the PAs Todd built, but I am extremely happy with the new style he makes. If you don't mind, I want to show mine off again. Cool

This thing has changed my life, like I knew it would. I play it like it is a piano.

He sure does. "PA meets Leo" is what it's called.

This is rapidly turning into my favorite thread Smile The wait for one of these gorgeous instruments is as delicious as it is agonizing. Thanks for re-posting your guitar, Mike. Todd, speaking of PA meeting Leo, any update on the meeting with Adolph?

Andre - would you be able to post some more video? I would be curious to hear the E9 neck with that copedant. Can you tell us where you got it?

Rick,
The "PA meets Adolph " project is still underway. We had a few design issues to work out with the pattern maker and foundry. I am hoping to have the pattern to the foundry within a few weeks, tho it could be a while longer than that.

The pickup prototypes have been made and I am working up a large batch of pickups now to get ready for the steels. These pickups will be available for the console and other models I build.Heres a hint of whats in store:

I should have my Joaquin T-8 model ready by the end of the month

Tim,
Jussi Hutakangas helped out Andre with the copedant.

Yes like Todd said, as i wanted the typical late 50s sound i figured
out how to get the best copedent, and of course the man to ask was
Jussi Huhtakangas in Helsinki, awesome guitarist btw Smile and he also own a triple neck
Bigsby, i havent been able to see it yet but maybe i will this fall,
ill try to post some video of the E9 neck.
