Hello,
after occasional lurking I'm glad to have finally joined the forum. I'm from Dublin, Ireland. I don't consider myself a steel player at all. I sing and play guitar out, mainly blues and western swing. I just play steel for my own amusement and to flesh out any recordings I do at home. I currently play a home made (by a friend) 6 string in C6. I also have an 8 string of his but I won't go near that!
I'm very busy with the non-music part of my life and probably won't be a big part of the community here, but it's nice to be here nonetheless.

Well, the camel has its nose under the tent, as they say, and it's the thin end of the wedge (to mix metaphors). I won't tell you how addictive the steel guitar is until you've contracted the ailment like the rest of us.
Welcome to the Forum. |
