I have been using an MSA 10 string with 5&5, I have A&B pedals with the F to F/F# on a lever, with the 3rd pedal doing what the normal 5th pedal and the 4th pedal is the same as the 6th pedal on C6th, and the 5th pedal is the same as pedal 7 on C6. I can't have the low G# note on this tuning, since I use [from top down] F#, C#, G#, E, B, G#, F#, E, B, low E for the last string, I sing & play my own backup with this guitar & play most all the C6th style songs I used to do on the 12 string Uni. I do raise that 2nd C# to Eb on a lever & half way is the D note. I also raise 9th string B to the D on a lever. Lowering the E's to Eb gives almost a B6th tuning. I love this ol MSA, [with Geo L 'Eion' pickup] it sounds great with my Profex II and my Evans, or Fender Steel King, or my Nashville 400 with the LeMay mods. Great sounding MSA.
Anyone else using a similar tuning?? Give me a call sometime & we'll talk about it.
