I've always been a Beach Boys fan. I remember learning how to play the guitar while listening to In My Room. I now have way more toys and bigger rooms, but I still like this tune. I was recently inspired after hearing Tom Broderick play the song at the Denver Steel Guitar Show last month. Here's my version on the pedal steel and saxophone.

Thanks for that Chuck, nice present for me it's my daughter's 17th birthday today.
Now when are you gonna get to work on a Crusader's tune?
Hope all is well with you. _________________ Regards, Craig

Good ears, Doug. I could have played the melody and harmony together, but I decided to record them separately, using one string for each and then panning them wide for the stereo effect. Hope you're doing well.

Nice job--both Chuck and Scott! (Though, Scott, you could have done better--especially on that guitar part ) Of course, I'm just giving you a hard time over one of the Youtube comments you received. |

IMO there is a great deal of Beach Boys music that lends itself well to steel guitar. |
