My LG II #1219-L, was built at the end of '94. Look at Jack Strayhorn posts on the Forum, he tells in one of his posts, how many guitars were built every week, while he worked there. You find out the number, and can count back and get an idea of how old yours is. Also, you might email Emmons, which is what I did, and they did get back with me, but here lately, they've been hard to get a hold of, according to some folks on here.

I'm thinking the end plate was stamped 84-ish. When it was finished depends a lot on the color. The folks at Emmons will be glad to confirm the year for you. May not catch em this week. But Monday through Thursday's most weeks should get the job done.

Excluding the very first few Legrandes that were built. Very little if any changes were made. So if you have an 83 thru mid 86, I'm thinking that's when The Lashley LeGrandes came to be. It's the same guitar unless it was a custom order.
