I have worked out a Charlie Pride Hit on my Lap Steel Non Pedal Guitar. Many will remember "I'm So Afraid Of Losing You Again" and it is one that fits well on this tuning which is an Eight string arrangement.
Please visit my site for information on my E9th Lap Steel Guitar Course (no pedals).

Hi Roy.
That is beautiful smooth playing and a lovely sound.
Makes a nice change from some of the more aggressive styles of playing you hear these days.
I think regardless of tuning used its the musician that does justice to music.

Regards Jim

Hi Roy Great Job of playing and great sound. That Song was My Wife and My Wedding Song. Could you give me the String Gauges you use and the Tuning for the E-9TH.
Thank You

Roy:

Great stuff and nice technique. I am making progress with your course and using a volume pedal adds to the vibe.

Regards,

Lenny

Thanks Len! Right on with the volume pedal.
Shoot me an email if you have any questions and best of luck.
Here is another song "Look At Us" which is not in the course. It uses the exact set-up as outlined above in my chart.
