| That Cowboy ain't going no where and he ain't riding away. He's just letting the one's who have killed " Real Traditional Country Music " in the likes of GAC/CMT/CMA & ACM with all those Big Corp Award Shows & Radio Stations and the folks who he knows and that run all of this crab and rap in Country Music with bad rock N roll,get it over with. All those people who I know that have sold us out here in Southern California and Across this USA let alone the World should be a shame of who you are,but,they have no true loyalty or respect to what should be SACRED. George also set a record for attendance here in New Jersey this winter at the Prudential Center in Newark. When it comes down to it people recognize real class.

I wish I could have met him (George Strait) and talked to him at some point in my musical career life of real Traditional Country Music,but,that will have to wait.I do remember the first Concert he did in Southern California and he never changed since then.Same ole George. Oh no! I do know him and that other guy Randy Owens of that little group Alabama. I did that world cameo on Crook & Chase TNN TV Show with both of them. Oh what a dream that was. I remember his first appearance on the ACMs... he had to do 1:30 of Amarillo by Morning as he walked across the stage.. a near impossible feat and it took a long time to get that footage. So long, my best friend who was watching rehearsals sang it to me back at the hotel that night verbatim, over and over... so I too could enjoy her day. He is a class act and I'm glad he's made the decision to go off and enjoy some quality time with his family doing what he wants when he wants ~ I don't think there was ever a point he felt all that comfortable on stage but he loved his fans and he loved his music! Not sure what Dean Dillons gonna do...

I don't think that George is retired, I just think he is done with the touring machine.
He still has a lot of music in him and I think he just wants to do it on his terms, which is the best way especially for a guy of his stature. He has nothing else to prove, so take it easy, rope some calves, make another great movie and throw us a few gems once in awhile.
I wish I had done as much as him in my lifetime, guess I still have some time to work on that though!

| He's still signed to MCA Records and he says he'll keep his tour bus. He's wanting to retire from big tours, but wants to play at charity events |
