Hello All,
Has any of you has ever played psg through a Vintage (Orange) Roland cube 60? How does it sound? Good or bad idea? I could get one for 170$...

I used to own one of these many years ago as part of my 6-string rig. IIRC this amp has trouble getting really clean, and is a little mid-heavy. Fine for 6-string, but I don't think I would ever consider it for steel, other than practice. Depends what style of steel sound you are looking for, I guess.

Just my opinion from a distant memory...

Mike

I bought one of the orange Cube 60s in the early 80s to use for small clubs. I was not able to find a tone I liked for my Strat, and I played mostly clean. The price seems a bit high to me, too, unless there is a collectors cult for these amps.
