I am posting this for curiosity's sake - not with the intention of promoting this sale. I just saw this guitar and thought it was unusual:

Its a Push-Pull Universal 12. Seller claims it belonged to Jeff Newman. It has a very odd vertical "X-lever" - basically a long horizontal bar. Anyone seen anything like this before?

This is an almost exact twin to mine.
I would buy it but I am too cheap and broke.
Crying or Very sad
Maybe someone will surprise me and send it as a gift.
I will swap you my Carter Black U12.
Very Happy

I've seen it- on 2 of Jeff's guitars. That was how he set up his vertical. The pivot point was near the RKL, and the lever extended almost the entire length of the guitar. The seller was probably right.

that knee lever has 2/purposes, when in the e/9th mode it is the 5th string lower, and when in the b6th mode it does the same thing that your rkr/rkl on a c6th d/10 does (lowers 3rd string)....thanks jack

I believe this guitar is actually in the Seattle area...it's been on Craigslist in several cities across the country.
